Fare, booking and boarding
The return trip costs $10, paid in cash at Guest Services. The fare is bought with a Great Canadian Rewards card, and membership in the card program is free. Bookings open 48 hours ahead of a trip, and the cutoff falls at 8:00 PM on the previous evening. Riders without a booking are not taken on board.
Every rider must be 19+ and carry government photo ID. Wheelchair users can ride the shuttle, and service animals may come on board too. No shuttle runs to Casino Ajax, which sits 5.1 km off as measured in a direct line. The closest scheduled DRT stops for it are on Kingston Road at Alexanders Crossing, and Bus Rapid Transit work there can shift stops at short notice.
Getting there by bus or train
Every 30 minutes, route 917 of Durham Region Transit travels Bayly Street, linking Pickering Station and Ajax Station. It passes Church Street, the corner of the Durham Live district. Two scheduled stops sit nearest to Pickering Casino Resort: "Bayly Westbound @ Church" and "Bayly Eastbound @ Church".
Pickering GO and Ajax GO are stations on the Lakeshore East GO line. Riders arriving by bus or train avoid the shuttle booking rules. At the door, the casino still requires a valid government photo ID plus a second photo ID.
